Epic estates: The most expensive homes for sale in Tennessee
Got a few million dollars burning a hole in your pocket?
Sister outlet Memphis Business Journalscoured the state to find some of the most expensive and expansive real estate. These luxury residences range in price from $3.7 million for a home in the Memphis suburb of Germantown to a Franklin house that is on the market for $17.9 million, or about $76,000 a month.

Many of the homes’ living spaces top 10,000 square feet. Some have 10 acres or less of land accompanying them, while others sit on more than 300 acres, with a barn or room for horses to roam. And, a few are adjacent to some of the most beautiful parts of Tennessee.
One estate called “The Villa Collina” overlooks a bend in the Tennessee River and has about a $64,000-a-month price tag.
Singer Kelly Clarkson’s Hendersonville, Tennessee, home is also listed for sale with an asking price of more than $8 million. The home’s pool overlooks the Cumberland River.
One multimillion-dollar Franklin home even has a part of another mansion incorporated into the design. The $7.5 million, traditional-style home incorporated 150-year-old pine floors rescued from a former Charleston mansion.
